The Opportunity

The Director of Platform Product Management – Streaming leads the strategic direction and growth of FICO’s DMP Streaming platform, building on a foundation that already delivers real-time decisions in milliseconds for banks, insurers, payment providers, and enterprise clients across a variety of industries. You will own the platform’s strategy end-to-end, partnering closely with Engineering to translate real-time decisioning trade-offs into a roadmap that scales with customer and market demand.

What You'll Contribute

  • Own the DMP Streaming roadmap based on customer input, growth projections, and market conditions.

  • Partner with Engineering and Architecture on core trade-offs like throughput, latency, durability, and failover, and help guide build vs. buy decisions on messaging tech (e.g., Kafka, Pulsar).

  • Bring real-time scoring, feature computation, event orchestration, and transaction monitoring together into one coherent product experience for customers.

  • Prioritize and manage development efforts across sprint and quarterly (PI) planning cycles, translating strategy into clear, actionable proposals engineering can execute against.

  • Establish a market thought leadership position on real-time decisioning through analyst reviews, publications, PR, and client engagement.

  • Partner with other Platform Management leaders to align streaming investments with the broader platform roadmap.

  • Provide input on pricing, contract terms, and commercial constraints that balance DMP Streaming market adoption and recurring revenue growth with profitable business returns.

  • Identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency as streaming volumes scale, working closely with Engineering and Sales.

  • Support Sales on deals and renewals involving streaming decisioning capabilities, providing technical and strategic input to help close and retain business.

  • Plan, review, and coordinate DMP Streaming ecosystem communications around releases, enhancements, enablement, and collateral, inclusive of FICO Sales, Partners, and Solutions constituents.

  • Partner with Engineering to ensure timely, high-quality execution of DMP Streaming services aligned to business objectives and customer expectations, including uptime, latency, and throughput SLAs.

  • Enable Product and support teams with the knowledge and tools they need to deliver excellent client experiences on FICO's streaming platform.

  • Develop and maintain an accurate customer-facing roadmap for DMP Streaming covering near-term delivery and future platform direction.

What We're Seeking

  • Significant and proven experience in platform product management, including product ideation, roadmap development and validation, scrum product ownership, and coordination with engineering in an Agile environment.

  • Deep knowledge of the decisioning industry across banking, insurance, telco, payments, and emerging verticals, with a strong grasp of client business problems and how real-time decisioning capabilities address them.

  • Comfortable working alongside engineering teams on streaming and event-driven architectures (e.g., Kafka, Pulsar, or similar pub/sub systems), including batch processing, real-time transaction processing, and low-latency, high-throughput system design.

  • Understanding of decision logic execution within streaming pipelines, including rules engines, machine learning models, and mathematical optimization on live transaction data, and the ability to translate these capabilities into compelling customer value propositions.

  • Demonstrated ability to identify, size, and prioritize market opportunities across the platform's capabilities.

  • Experience working in complex, matrixed, and globally distributed organizations, with a track record of driving decisions to consensus and influencing cross-functional teams.

  • Executive-level communication skills, with the ability to translate complex platform and technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives for diverse audiences.

  • Experience in financial services, fintech, or other regulated industries preferred, particularly in fraud, payments, or transaction-processing environments.

  • BS degree in business, computer science, or software engineering required; MBA or equivalent experience strongly preferred.

Our Offer to You

  • An inclusive culture strongly reflecting our core values: Act Like an Owner, Delight Our Customers, and Earn the Respect of Others.

  • The opportunity to make an impact and develop professionally by leveraging your unique strengths and participating in valuable learning experiences.

  • Highly competitive compensation, benefits, and rewards programs that encourage you to bring your best every day and be recognized for doing so.

  • An engaging, people-first work environment offering work/life balance, employee resource groups, and social events to promote interaction and camaraderie.

  • The targeted base pay range for this role is: $143,500 to $225,500 with this range reflecting differences in candidate knowledge, skills and experience.
