Platform Automation Engineer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Platform Automation Engineer based in India. This is a full-time remote opportunity focused on designing, building, and evolving enterprise private cloud platforms. You will work hands-on with OpenShift and Kubernetes to create scalable, resilient, and automated platform capabilities across on-premises and hybrid environments. The role combines platform engineering with software development, emphasizing code-first automation rather than manual operational processes. You will build APIs, Kubernetes Operators, GitOps workflows, and self-service capabilities that improve the developer experience and accelerate platform adoption. Strong collaboration with architects, application teams, and platform stakeholders will be essential to shaping reliable and efficient cloud-native services.
