THE ROLE
Glia is growing, and we are looking for a proactive and experienced People Operations Specialist to support our global employee experience.

As the People Operations Specialist, you will support and scale our global processes while providing an excellent employee experience and weaving Glia’s core values throughout the employee lifecycle.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Global Lifecycle Management: Own the operational execution of key employee milestones, including onboarding, promotions, internal relocations, and offboarding on a global scale.
- Immigration & Mobility: Support our employees through the visa and immigration process, ensuring Glianeers can work where they are needed most with minimal friction.
- EOR Management: Act as the primary point of contact for our Employer of Record (EOR) partners in Europe.
- Global Onboarding: Partner with the broader People team to oversee the end-to-end onboarding experience, ensuring every new hire—whether remote or in-office—has a seamless and memorable start.
- Global Events & Engagement: Lead the planning for global events, team-building offsites, and internal celebrations that keep a distributed workforce connected and engaged.
- Workspace Strategy: Oversee the functioning of our physical offices (including Estonia and Europe) and remote support for our North American offices, ensuring all locations are safe, optimized, and consistently reflect Glia’s global culture and standards.
- Budget & Vendor Management: Manage the global budget for office operations, perks, and swag. Oversee global vendors to ensure high standards of service and cost-effectiveness.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- 3+ years of experience in People Operations or Workplace Experience
- Global Mindset: Experience supporting teams across multiple time zones and cultures; you understand that "global" means more than just the headquarters.
