This is a patient-focused financial counseling role supporting individuals who need help understanding and managing healthcare costs.You will guide patients through payment responsibilities, insurance benefits, financial assistance options, and available payment arrangements.The role combines financial counseling, insurance coordination, collections support, and patient advocacy.You will help identify and resolve issues involving registration, billing, authorizations, claims, and financial assistance programs.Strong communication and empathy are essential when working with patients and families about sensitive financial matters.The position is fully remote, while candidates must reside in the Northeast Ohio area and work a daytime schedule.Your work will directly contribute to a smoother financial experience for patients while supporting accurate and timely revenue-cycle processes.
