Mid-Level Grid Interconnection Consultant

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Mid-Level Grid Interconnection Consultant based in the United States. This remote role supports utility planning and advisory projects focused on generator interconnection and transmission planning.You’ll help clients navigate complex interconnection requirements and evaluate how new generation resources affect the power grid.The work spans conventional and renewable generation projects, including wind, solar, battery storage, and hybrid resources.You’ll perform sophisticated power system studies covering steady-state, dynamic, transient stability, voltage, thermal, and short-circuit analyses.You’ll also review ISO studies, develop technical models, and provide guidance that informs client interconnection strategies.The role combines hands-on engineering analysis with technical reporting, project planning, and client collaboration.As a remote consultant, you’ll work with multidisciplinary teams and leverage modern engineering and technology tools to deliver high-quality outcomes.
