Position Summary
CVS Health is seeking a highly skilled Data Analytics Manager to serve as a Lead Technical Architect driving enterprise analytics solutions. This role is responsible for defining technical strategy, establishing architecture standards, and delivering scalable, AI-enabled data solutions across multiple operational domains including ClinOps, MTM, and CRxM.
You will act as both a hands-on architect and strategic leader, translating business needs into robust data solutions while enabling advanced analytics, automation, and insights that drive operational performance and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Strategy
- Define and enforce enterprise data architecture standards, best practices, and governance.
- Design end-to-end analytics solutions across data ingestion, transformation, semantic layers, and consumption.
- Establish scalable, secure, and AI-enabled data ecosystems supporting enterprise growth.
- Evaluate and prioritize portfolio opportunities to drive innovation and business value.
Analytics Delivery & Execution
- Lead the development of analytics solutions, dashboards, and KPI frameworks using Tableau and related tools.
- Enable automation of manual processes and streamline data workflows across platforms.
- Integrate multiple data sources to deliver actionable insights supporting operational decision-making.
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions and data models.
Technology & Innovation
- Serve as subject matter expert across tools such as Dataiku, Teradata, Alteryx, Tableau, and Python.
- Architect and support advanced analytics, AI/ML, and GenAI use cases aligned with enterprise standards.
- Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance analytics capabilities.
Partnership & Influence
- Collaborate with business, clinical, and operations partners to define metrics, KPIs, and analytical frameworks.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to drive data-driven strategies.
- Communicate technical designs, tradeoffs, and insights clearly to non-technical audiences.
Leadership & Development
- Guide and mentor junior team members on technical design, analytics methodologies, and best practices.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and agile delivery.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, or solution architecture
- Proven experience designing enterprise-scale data and analytics solutions
- Deep expertise in:
- Advanced SQL, data modeling, and performance optimization
- Data platforms (SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata)
- Data integration, automation, and analytics architecture
- Hands-on experience with Tableau, Dataiku, Alteryx, and Python-based solutions
- Experience designing end-to-end data pipelines and reporting solutions
- Strong understanding of SDLC, data governance, and security best practices
- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud or hybrid environments (e.g., GCP, Azure)
- Experience implementing AI/ML or Generative AI solutions
- Background in healthcare, PBM, or regulated industries
- Experience with agile delivery methodologies
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills
- Ability to quickly develop subject matter expertise across domains

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$54,300.00 - $145,860.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
