Position Summary
The Pricing Manager supports the development and execution of pricing strategies to help drive category performance, using market research, competitive benchmarking, and analytical reporting to inform sound, data-driven decisions. This role provides strong analytical and reporting support across categories, helping drive revenue growth, margin optimization, and market share expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting & Analytics

  • Build and maintain pricing reports and dashboards, scoping requirements and developing solutions from the ground up to meet evolving business needs
  • Generate insights on pricing effectiveness using ad hoc tools and dashboards, presenting findings to stakeholders through clear, concise reporting
  • Query and analyze large, complex datasets across multiple platforms (e.g., SQL-based tools such as Snowflake) to develop and support pricing reports and dashboards
  • Develop reporting to benchmark competitor prices and offerings, ensuring pricing remains competitive and aligned with market standards

Strategy & Innovation

  • Support the development and refinement of pricing strategies to achieve business objectives and maximize profitability
  • Identify innovative pricing approaches based on market dynamics or customer behavior, and simulate their impact through optimization experiments

Market Research & Trend Analysis

  • Conduct market research to monitor industry trends, competitor price positioning, and emerging opportunities
  • Analyze external and internal data to inform pricing decisions and strategic direction

This is a remote role that can be done anywhere in the US with the expectation of working EST Hours.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in pricing, retail merchandising, revenue management, or financial analytics
  • Strong understanding of retail pricing dynamics, promotions, and front store category management
  • Advanced analytical skills; strong proficiency in Excel
  • Ability to influence cross‑functional partners and communicate effectively at all levels, including senior leadership
  • Experience working with large datasets, including querying and analyzing data using SQL-based platforms (e.g., Snowflake or equivalent).
  • Highly detail-oriented with a strong focus on completeness, accuracy, and follow-through


Preferred Qualifications

  • SQL and BI tools
  • Experience in drugstore, mass retail, grocery, or convenience retail environments
  • Knowledge of price elasticity modeling and optimization
  • MBA/Advanced Degree
  • Experience using AI-powered tools to streamline and enhance the development of reports and dashboards

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$66,330.00 - $145,860.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
