Mainframe Systems Programmer – CICS

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Mainframe Systems Programmer – CICS based in United States. This is an opportunity for an experienced mainframe professional to provide critical technical support for CICS environments and related OEM software products.You will work with enterprise z/OS environments, supporting customers across multiple time zones and operational requirements.The role combines systems programming, software installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and migration support.You will contribute to customer transitions, operating system upgrades, disaster recovery activities, and ongoing platform optimization.Success in this position requires strong technical judgment, analytical thinking, and the ability to manage priorities in high-pressure situations.The environment is collaborative and client-facing, with opportunities to work independently while partnering with project managers and other technical teams.This is a remote U.S. position with on-call, overtime, and scheduled weekend responsibilities.
