Local Government Relations Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Local Government Relations Manager based in United States. This remote role supports large-scale fiber network expansion by building trusted relationships with local governments, public works departments, utilities, and community leaders. You’ll serve as a key liaison across multiple jurisdictions, helping navigate permitting, right-of-way, construction coordination, and community concerns. The role combines government relations, stakeholder engagement, issue resolution, and infrastructure project support. You’ll work closely with field operations, network, marketing, and other internal teams to resolve local issues and keep construction initiatives moving efficiently. Strong community relationships and practical knowledge of municipal processes will be central to maintaining positive partnerships. The position is well suited to a highly independent, collaborative professional who can represent infrastructure initiatives with sound judgment, integrity, and strong communication skills.
