Lead SDET

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Lead SDET based in India. This is a senior technical leadership role responsible for quality governance across frontend, middleware, and backend layers of a complex onboarding platform.You will shape test architecture, API contract testing, data modelling, and quality standards across a multi-layered technical environment.The role focuses on independently validating quality at every system layer rather than relying on assumptions made upstream.You will establish delivery standards, evidence requirements, quality gates, and traceability practices that support reliable technical outcomes.Working closely with QA Analysts, SDETs, and Test Operations teams, you will coordinate execution, resolve dependencies, and address cross-layer discrepancies.Your work will help transform detailed technical evidence into clear, traceable findings and stakeholder-ready deliverables.This opportunity is well suited to an experienced QA leader who combines deep technical expertise with strong governance, communication, and mentoring skills.
