Lead Project Manager (VA ESOM - PMCoE)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Lead Project Manager (VA ESOM - PMCoE) based in United States. This role provides senior-level project management leadership across IT modernization and new-capability initiatives supporting a large federal portfolio.You will oversee the full project lifecycle, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closeout.As the operational lead for a Project Management Center of Excellence, you will coordinate and guide a team of 22 Project Managers and a SharePoint/Web Developer.The position combines hands-on project delivery with team leadership, stakeholder coordination, risk management, and performance oversight.You will work closely with program managers, customers, project sponsors, senior leadership, and technical teams to maintain scope, schedule, cost, and quality objectives.The role offers the opportunity to apply established project management standards while contributing to complex technology initiatives in a federal environment.This is a fully remote position within the United States, with working hours aligned to Eastern Time.
