Lead Data Center Technician

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Lead Data Center Technician based in United States. This is a hands-on leadership role supporting customer deployments and infrastructure projects in active data center and critical-environment settings. You will lead technicians and helpers while remaining directly involved in rack-and-stack, structured cabling, installation, remediation, and cabinet closeout activities. The role combines field leadership with technical execution, quality control, documentation, and customer-site coordination. You will work from rack elevations, cable schedules, port maps, drawings, runbooks, and field instructions to deliver reliable deployments. The position is highly travel-intensive, with approximately 75–90% nationwide travel and extended assignments. Success requires strong judgment, disciplined execution, safety awareness, and the ability to identify and escalate issues before they affect project timelines or quality.
