Intermediate Backend Engineer

As an Intermediate Backend Engineer, you’ll build and ship production-grade backend features for a large-scale technology platform used by millions of users.You’ll take ownership of features from problem clarification and design through implementation, testing, deployment, and production follow-up.The role combines backend engineering, API development, databases, observability, security, and performance optimization.You’ll work closely with product, frontend, infrastructure, and security teams in a highly collaborative environment.The team operates remotely and asynchronously, giving you significant autonomy while providing experienced engineers for design and code reviews.You’ll also use AI coding tools as part of your daily workflow while applying sound judgment to validate and improve AI-generated output.This is an opportunity to strengthen your engineering judgment while contributing to reliable, maintainable systems at significant scale.
