About the Team The Intelligence & Investigations team works to rapidly detect, understand, and disrupt abuse involving AI technologies to ensure they are used safely and responsibly. We identify emerging abuse trends, analyze risks, and partner across OpenAI to develop mitigation strategies that strengthen product safety and support high-stakes decision-making. Our work contributes directly to OpenAI’s mission of ensuring AI benefits all of humanity. About the Role We are seeking a technical builder and operator to help extend Intelligence & Investigations capabilities into external-facing environments. This role sits at the intersection of technical development, productization, partner engagement, and operational delivery. You will help translate internal intelligence and investigative capabilities into durable external solutions that can be deployed in real-world settings. This includes shaping early product concepts, building and adapting technical workflows, and working closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure what we develop is practical, scalable, and grounded in real operational needs.
