Inpatient Audit Specialist PRN

This is a fully remote opportunity for an experienced inpatient coding and auditing professional supporting healthcare organizations with high-quality, compliant coding practices.You will conduct facility inpatient coding audits across onboarding, focused reviews, service-level agreements, and other specialized engagements.The role combines detailed chart review with clear, evidence-based recommendations and coder education.You will work with MS-DRG and APR-DRG methodologies while identifying coding opportunities, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.Success requires strong judgment, excellent query-writing abilities, and the ability to manage multiple cases while maintaining accuracy and turnaround expectations.This PRN position offers a flexible schedule, with a preference for approximately 20 hours per week, and spinal auditing experience is a plus.You will also contribute to a collaborative, service-oriented environment focused on coding excellence, compliance, and continuous professional...
