IBM Senior Support Engineer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an IBM Senior Support Engineer based in India. This role leads technical delivery across IBM i / AS/400 environments within managed services and project-based engagements. You will help ensure mission-critical platforms remain secure, stable, compliant, and operationally efficient. The position combines hands-on infrastructure expertise with technical leadership across patching, upgrades, migrations, automation, high availability, and disaster recovery. You will work closely with enterprise clients and senior technical stakeholders to translate business objectives into practical technical roadmaps. The role also supports modernization initiatives involving APIs, integrations, automation, and hybrid cloud architectures. It is well suited to an experienced IBM i professional who can combine deep technical knowledge with strong client-facing and delivery capabilities.
