Head of Infrastructure

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Head of Infrastructure based in Brazil. This is a senior, hands-on infrastructure leadership opportunity for an experienced engineer who wants to own the full production infrastructure stack. You will design, operate, secure, and scale a multi-cloud environment across AWS and GCP, with Kubernetes at its core. The role combines infrastructure engineering, cloud architecture, compliance, observability, and production reliability within a high-impact healthcare technology environment. You will play a critical role in strengthening HIPAA and SOC 2 controls while ensuring systems remain secure, resilient, and scalable. This is a director-level individual contributor position with significant technical ownership but no people-management responsibilities. You will establish infrastructure standards, lead incident response, and make practical technical decisions that directly influence platform reliability. The role is fully remote and designed for an engineer who remains deeply involved in production systems and implementation.
