  • Lead the transition into accrual accounting, strengthening financial accuracy and forecasting capabilities.
  • Assess and manage tax liabilities under U.S. tax law, mitigating risks and ensuring compliance.
  • Balance long-term financial strategy with hands-on operational execution.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, translating financial insights into clear, actionable decisions.

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience as a Controller or senior finance leader, ideally within a family office or private equity-backed environment.
  • Expertise in U.S. GAAP and U.S. tax law, with demonstrated success in compliance, reporting, and risk management.
  • Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, treasury management, foreign exchange, and hedging strategies.
  • Experience leading the evolution of financial operations, including implementing accrual accounting and scalable systems.
  • Demonstrated success in building financial processes, standardizing reporting, and enabling growth.
  • Charismatic yet humble leadership style with a track record of mentoring and developing high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional communication skills, able to influence, inspire, and partner across the organization.
  • Analytical mindset with adaptability and a proactive, hands-on approach.
  • Preference for candidates based in Miami, FL.

  • Stakeholders have confidence in reporting, controls, and growth strategy, with measurable progress toward increasing enterprise value.
  • Treasury and cash management processes are refined, with effective hedging strategies ensuring strong liquidity and disciplined use of capital.
  • The finance team is operating at a higher level under your leadership, with improved efficiency and alignment.
