HCM Customer Development Lead/ VBS Developer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a HCM Customer Development Lead/ VBS Developer based in United States. This role leads a development team supporting a large-scale federal HCM modernization program built around Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM.You will oversee the design and delivery of secure, maintainable extensions using Oracle Visual Builder Studio, APEX, Application Composer, and Page Composer.The position emphasizes a configuration-first approach, using custom development only when standard platform capabilities cannot meet validated requirements.You will work across extension applications, REST API integrations, reporting, workflows, sandbox environments, and production support.The role combines technical leadership with hands-on development, architecture reviews, Agile collaboration, and mentorship of developers.Your work will help deliver upgrade-safe, accessible, and compliant solutions for complex federal HR processes and enterprise environments.This is a fully remote opportunity, with preference for candidates in the DMV area and up to 10% travel within the continental United States.
