Founding Product Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE This is a founding-level Product Engineer role on the Engineering team of a fast-growing European AI communication startup, building an AI phone assistant used by thousands of SMEs across Europe. You'll take end-to-end ownership of product features — from hypothesis and prototype all the way to production — sitting at the intersection of engineering, product thinking, and customer insight. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Own features end-to-end, driving them from initial hypothesis through experimentation and into production. - Lead product discovery by designing and running rapid experiments to validate ideas before committing to full builds. - Maintain close, recurring contact with customers, partners, and the Sales team to surface and prioritise real pain points. - Design and implement tracking and analytics to support data-driven product decisions. - Build across the full stack, contributing to architecture decisions and seeing them through to release. - Balance pragmatic short-term validation with long-term scalability in every solution. - Take radical ownership of initiatives and move them forward autonomously.
