Founding Forward Deployed Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE Own customer deployments for an early-stage B2B SaaS company, from initial data access through a trusted system that delivers measurable business outcomes. This founding role combines data engineering, applied AI, and customer collaboration, while building reusable tools and practices to make future deployments more effective. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Work with customer revenue and operations leaders to understand business goals and identify valuable problems to solve. - Lead customer onboarding, scope data access, and map undocumented warehouse schemas to business concepts. - Interview customer data and business teams to establish consistent definitions and validate data mappings. - Build customer-facing signals and workflows, including custom agent configurations, and diagnose issues with their outputs. - Define success measures with customers and build analysis that demonstrates the impact of deployments. - Turn deployment learnings into reusable validation frameworks, evaluation harnesses, and mapping tools.
