Forward Deployed Engineer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer based in Canada. As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will work at the intersection of software engineering, partner delivery, payments, and AI-driven innovation. You will collaborate directly with SaaS partners to design, build, and deploy seamless payment integrations and workflows. The role combines hands-on engineering with customer-facing technical leadership, taking integrations from initial discovery through production deployment. You will leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery while creating reusable assets, automation, and best-practice playbooks. Success in this role will be measured through implementation quality, scalability, speed-to-launch, and partner satisfaction. You will also work closely with Sales, Product, Operations, and engineering teams to solve complex integration challenges. This is a fully remote, Canada-based position with travel required for customer engagements and company events.
