Financial Reporting Accountant

The Senior Financial Reporting Accountant is responsible for supporting monthly close and reporting processes, preparing account reconciliations, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the Company’s financial records. This role works closely with the broader accounting and finance teams to provide technical accounting support, assist in audit preparation, and deliver accurate financial information for internal and external stakeholders.

• Perform key period-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
• Prepare and review balance sheet account reconciliations in accordance with close deadlines
• Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly internal financial reporting packages
• Support the year-end financial statement audit, including preparation of audit schedules and responding to auditor inquiries
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial data
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of accounting policies and procedures
• Support ad hoc reporting, analysis, and special projects, as needed
• All other duties and projects as assigned.

Required:

• High School Graduate/GED / Equivalent Work
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 2 - 4 Years related work experience
• Strong knowledge of General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc.)
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines effectively.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Experience working with Oracle NetSuite.
