Financial Controller

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Financial Controller based in Canada. As a Financial Controller, you’ll own the day-to-day accounting function within a lean, high-growth, remote-first environment.You’ll lead the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close while ensuring accurate reporting, strong controls, and sound accounting practices.The role combines hands-on accounting leadership with commercial insight across project revenue, margins, cash flow, and business performance.You’ll partner closely with finance and business leaders to turn financial data into clear recommendations and actionable decisions.A key part of the opportunity is improving finance operations through automation, AI, better data flows, and scalable processes.You’ll have substantial autonomy to challenge assumptions, solve problems, and strengthen the financial infrastructure supporting continued growth.This is an ideal environment for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys ownership, ambiguity, and making finance more efficient and useful.
