We’re Seminal Artist Group, a global label and licensing agency for visual artists, operating across 20+ countries. We help artists transform their work into products and experiences that connect deeply with fans, partnering with brands to bring art to life in new ways.
We’re seeking a Financial Accountant to support our CFO and take ownership of day-to-day finance operations, reporting, and compliance across multiple entities. This is a hands-on role with a balance of financial control (bookkeeping, reconciliations, reporting) and forward-looking work (supporting FP&A, modelling, and process improvements).
A key part of the role will be managing royalties, invoicing, and accounts receivable/payable, from tracking when royalty reports are due, to chasing licensee payments, paying artists, and keeping accurate records for tax and compliance. As this area expands, you’ll help strengthen processes and may play a role in building out the team to support it further.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Take responsibility for accounts receivable and payable across multiple entities: invoicing licensees, tracking royalty reports, following up payments, and preparing artist royalty statements
- Maintain accurate records for contracts, payments, and withholding tax (WHT) compliance
- Prepare and support monthly close, reconciliations, management reports, and variance tracking
- Support improvements in reporting structures and cost allocation across departments and entities
- Assist with cashflow forecasting, financial modelling, and investor reporting
- Maintain accurate records in HubSpot and support workflow/process improvements
- Spot opportunities to streamline finance processes and make reporting more consistent over time
- Provide light HR/admin support linked to finance (employee records, payroll inputs, etc.)
You’ll Thrive in This Role If You
- Have 5+ years of accounting/finance experience, ideally with CPA qualification or eligibility
- Bring strong AR/AP experience and are eager to help strengthen royalties, invoicing, and compliance processes
- Are comfortable taking ownership of end-to-end finance processes with minimal supervision
- Have strong Excel skills; exposure to financial modelling or Power BI is a plus
- Are detail-oriented, organised, and ambitious to grow into broader finance responsibilities
- Bonus: experience handling multi-entity or international finance, including transfer pricing considerations, is highly valued.
