Financial Accountant

The role and its impact We're looking for a Financial Accountant to help deliver quality financial information and drive continuous improvement across our Accounting team. You'll be a key contributor to Xero's month-end close process, supporting our financial reporting requirements as a listed issuer. This role is an opportunity to work across multiple aspects of accounting—from balance sheet reconciliations to technical accounting support—while building relationships throughout our business. In this role, you'll develop expertise across the full accounting cycle and take ownership of driving process improvements. You'll have the chance to challenge the status quo, leverage emerging tools responsibly to reduce manual effort, and make a real impact on how we operate. Your work will support Xero's external disclosures, employee equity schemes, and strategic financial projects that help us supercharge small business globally.
