THE OPPORTUNITY
SportsBiz is transforming the $100B sports sponsorship industry by eliminating inefficiencies through automation, AI, and predictive analytics. Our proprietary platform, DeepSport Solutions, empowers global brands to make smarter, faster, and more profitable sponsorship decisions—unlocking untapped value across broadcast, digital, and social media.

We're seeking a mission-driven, entrepreneurial EVP of Revenue Generation to lead our go-to-market strategy and scale our revenue engine. This is a hands-on, player-coach leadership role—ideal for a proven commercial executive ready to drive exponential growth in a high-potential venture backed by major family offices and strategic investors.

Note: SportsBiz team members are currently compensated through a mix of equity and modest stipends, with full salary activation upon the close of our fundraising round anticipated in Q3 2025.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As EVP, Revenue Generation, you will serve as a key member of the executive team, responsible for shaping and executing a revenue strategy that spans enterprise sales, marketing, partnerships, and customer success. You will lead all revenue-generating functions with a focus on building scalable processes, delivering meaningful client impact, and expanding market share across the sports and brand marketing ecosystem.

Critically, you will be expected to carry and grow your own book of business—bringing existing client relationships where possible, and actively developing new opportunities through direct outreach, networking, and closing deals. This role is for a leader who sells, not just strategizes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Execute the company’s revenue strategy in alignment with corporate goals
  • Own and grow a personal book of business, with a focus on closing new deals and expanding existing accounts
  • Build, manage, and inspire a high-performing sales and business development team (based on achieving key milestones)
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and finance to optimize pricing, packaging, and positioning
  • Establish scalable processes for pipeline development, sales forecasting, and performance metrics
  • Cultivate senior relationships with brand marketers, agencies, and media rights holders
  • Shape and secure strategic partnerships that accelerate client acquisition and retention
  • Maintain strong insight into industry trends and customer feedback to inform platform evolution
  • Oversee negotiation of complex, multi-stakeholder agreements
  • Serve as a trusted voice on company-wide decisions

WHAT YOU BRING
  • 10+ years of executive leadership in high-growth, B2B SaaS, data, or media businesses
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining a personal revenue book — and consistently closing deals
  • Deep experience in enterprise sales, strategic partnerships, and business development
  • Expertise in navigating complex sales cycles with Fortune 1000 brands and agencies
  • Strong operational mindset with a passion for metrics, systems, and process optimization
  • Bold, hands-on leadership style—willing to roll up sleeves and lead by example
  • Excellent communication and executive presence
  • Experience in sports, sponsorship, adtech, or marketing tech is a plus

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience with HubSpot and modern revenue tech stacks
  • MBA or equivalent executive business training
  • Exposure to fundraising, investor relations, or board-level reporting is a bonus

COMPENSATION
  • Target Range: $150,000–$225,000 annual base (upon funding close)
  • Equity Participation: Significant founding team equity commensurate with early-stage leadership
  • Interim Compensation: Routine cash stipend until full funding is secured ( late Q3 2025 target)
