The ELA Item Writer II develops high-quality assessment content focused on reading and literacy for K–12 learners.This role combines English Language Arts expertise with assessment design, creativity, and analytical thinking.You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create test items, passages, performance tasks, and interactive assessment experiences.The position offers the opportunity to contribute to large-scale standardized assessments used across diverse educational settings.You will help ensure that assessment content is accurate, engaging, accessible, and aligned with defined learning objectives.The role also provides exposure to assessment development, content review, item management, and evolving educational technologies.This is a fully remote opportunity for candidates who live and work within the United States, with limited travel required.
