Director of Technical Accounting

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director of Technical Accounting based in United States. This is a highly visible technical accounting leadership role within a remote-first, globally distributed environment shaping the future of digital finance. You will serve as a subject-matter expert on U.S. GAAP and guide the accounting treatment of complex, non-routine, and emerging transactions. The role combines deep technical expertise with strategic partnership across Finance, Legal, FP&A, Treasury, and business teams. You will play a key role in addressing accounting questions involving digital assets, blockchain-based products, M&A, financing arrangements, and new products. With direct exposure to senior leadership and external auditors, your work will influence accounting policies, controls, reporting, and business decisions.
