Director, India

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director, India based in India. This role serves as the senior-most India-based leader for a growing global organization, combining country leadership with statutory Board Director responsibilities. You will oversee the local legal entity while connecting global strategy with effective execution across India. The position has broad ownership spanning governance, financial and regulatory compliance, people decisions, risk management, and operational performance. You will work closely with global executives, India-based managers, finance teams, HR, external advisors, auditors, and regulators. As the local accountable leader, you will establish strong governance rhythms and operating discipline within a highly autonomous, fully remote environment.
