Director - Cyber Operations

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director - Cyber Operations based in Australia. This leadership role will oversee a multidisciplinary Cyber Operations function supporting a dynamic, globally connected organization across the APAC region. You’ll lead teams responsible for cyber threat intelligence, security operations, incident response, and detection engineering. As a key security leader, you’ll help strengthen resilience against emerging threats while ensuring effective day-to-day operational performance. You’ll act as an Incident Commander during major security events, making confident decisions and coordinating response efforts under pressure. The role combines strategic planning, technical oversight, stakeholder engagement, and people leadership. You’ll also shape team development, improve security capabilities, and align cyber priorities with broader business objectives.
