DB2 System Admin

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a DB2 System Admin based in the United States. This fully remote role is responsible for maintaining DB2 software and database environments on IBM mainframe platforms running z/OS.You’ll help ensure systems remain secure, supported, documented, and compliant with applicable STIG and SRG requirements.The position combines hands-on database administration with software installation, configuration, upgrades, and maintenance.You’ll provide technical support on DB2-related questions and issues across mission-critical mainframe environments.The role also contributes to database migrations and application software upgrades while following established operational procedures.Success requires strong attention to security, documentation, change management, and reliable execution in a regulated environment.This is an opportunity to contribute your mainframe expertise to an environment where system stability and compliance are essential.
