This senior-level role offers the opportunity to design, maintain, and optimize complex database environments supporting mission-critical digital services.You’ll play a key role in shaping enterprise data architecture, standards, performance, scalability, and security.The position combines hands-on database engineering with architectural planning, solution development, and technical leadership.You’ll collaborate closely with developers and engineering teams to establish strong database practices and deliver reliable data solutions.The role provides significant autonomy, allowing you to influence technical decisions and contribute to program-level standards and engineering practices.You’ll also mentor other database professionals and help strengthen the team’s technical capabilities.Most importantly, your work will support technology that helps Veterans and their families access important government services efficiently and securely.
