Database Administrator

This role offers the opportunity to play a critical part in a large-scale data migration initiative supporting a federal healthcare program.You will take ownership of database health, security, availability, and performance across both on-premises and AWS-hosted environments.From provisioning and configuration to migration, performance tuning, backup, and recovery, you will contribute across the full database lifecycle.You will work closely with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure data is transferred accurately, securely, and efficiently.The role combines hands-on database administration with cloud infrastructure expertise and complex troubleshooting.Your work will help maintain reliable data systems while supporting modernization efforts that ultimately improve services for Veterans.This is a mission-driven opportunity for a database professional who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and working on long-term transformation initiatives.
