About the Role: 

We are seeking a talented and motivated Data Infrastructure Engineer Intern  who is best in class with a high IQ plus a high EQ. This role presents an exciting opportunity to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment within a rapidly growing team, with abundant prospects for career advancement.

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist in maintaining and improving our data warehousing systems (AWS DMS, Redshift).
  • Support the team in monitoring data pipelines, identifying issues, and troubleshooting basic problems.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries for analytics and data validation.
  • Collaborate with engineers and analysts to understand data needs and support use cases.
  • Participate in testing, documentation, and improving reliability of data systems.
  • Identify and automate repetitive daily manual processes, reducing operational overhead and improving team efficiency.
  • Learn and explore new tools and technologies in the data ecosystem.

What We Look For:

  • Currently pursuing (or recently completed) a degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Basic understanding of relational databases (MySQL, Postgres, relational concepts) and no sql databases. 
  • Familiarity with at least one programming language (Python, Go, or similar).
  • Interest in data infrastructure, distributed systems, or backend engineering.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Leveraged AI tools such as Claude to accelerate development workflows, troub
