This part-time, home-based consulting role focuses on providing expert cytogenetics review and guidance for karyotype analysis.You will assess karyotype images, validate findings, and ensure accurate interpretation and reporting of chromosomal abnormalities.The role plays an important part in maintaining high standards of diagnostic accuracy and consistency across reported cases.You will help ensure that all results follow current ISCN 2020 nomenclature and established cytogenetic reporting practices.A key component of the position is mentoring and training team members to strengthen their ability to identify and represent karyotype abnormalities correctly.The engagement offers flexibility, with working time structured around either agreed daily case volumes or approximately 2–3 hours per day.It is well suited to an experienced cytogenetics professional who enjoys combining technical expertise, quality oversight, and knowledge sharing.
