Coding Supervisor / Coding Team Lead

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Coding Supervisor / Coding Team Lead based in United States. This is a fully remote leadership opportunity supporting Veterans Affairs medical centers across VISN 7.The role oversees a distributed coding team responsible for approximately 260,000 coded encounters annually across eight facilities.You will serve as a primary liaison with VA HIMS leaders, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant coding operations.The position combines team leadership, quality assurance, productivity management, coder coaching, and client communication.You will play a key role in maintaining coding accuracy across inpatient and outpatient services while addressing documentation and billing issues.The environment is highly structured, mission-driven, and focused on delivering reliable healthcare coding support to veteran populations.The initial term is 12 months, with the possibility of four additional 12-month option periods.
