Chief Data Engineer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Chief Data Engineer based in the United States. This role provides technical leadership for an enterprise data platform supporting federal investigative, audit, and oversight missions. You’ll architect and lead cloud-based pipelines that consolidate data from diverse investigative, government, and external sources. The position combines hands-on data engineering with architecture, modernization, governance, security, and team leadership. You’ll drive the migration from legacy ETL technologies to modern cloud-native solutions and establish scalable integration patterns. Working in secure Azure Government environments, you’ll help create authoritative datasets that support advanced analytics and AI applications. This is an opportunity to shape a large-scale data foundation for a mission-critical federal program while leading engineers through complex technical challenges.
