Position Summary

Business Process Management is a strategic business discipline designed to support the execution of clear and repeatable processes which ensure value delivery to our internal and external customers. We are looking for collaborative Process Management professionals who have a passion to improve business and operational processes while transforming our culture to one of Business Process Excellence.

The Business Process Designer is the most advanced Business Process Management expert who provides technical know-how to to drive a culture of continuous improvement and process excellence. Business Process Designers have a strong knowledge of BPM systems and their implementation. They work together with the Process Director to form the foundation of a BPM project. The Process Designer is responsible for designing or redesigning business processes to improve operational efficiency. They will analyze, implement, and update processes so as to ensure company goals are met. Finally, they will analyze the effectiveness of current process in order to develop and implement strategies to improve workflow effectiveness.

The responsibilities for the successful candidate in this role include but will not be limited to:

  • Design and implement new business processes

  • Transform existing business processes by analyzing end-to-end mapping and identifying areas of opportunity through annual reviews, as well as formal and informal customer complaints

  • Lead Process Discovery and Design workshops

  • Ensure that all process designs align with and complies with the overall business goals and policies

  • Support Process Analyst/Designer with performance measurement and reporting

  • Coordinate and conduct annual process reviews with Process Owners and Process Council

  • Provide coaching and support to Process Owners, Experts, and end-users as needed to ensure Process Management Framework is appropriately followed

Required Qualifications

  • BPM Certification or equivalent work experience

  • Expert in Business Process Management, Process Design, and Process Change Management

  • Experience designing and implementing new business and operational processes

  • Critical thinking skills

  • Advanced knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Comfortable presenting to senior level management

  • Coaches and mentors Process Management Specialists

  • Capable of thriving in a self-directed model


Preferred Qualifications

  • Expert user of Nintex Process Manager or other Process Management Software

  • Lean/Six Sigma designation

  • Bachelor Degree, BPM Certification, Six Sigma Certification or Training

Education

  • Associates Degree or equivalent work experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$54,300.00 - $145,860.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
