Building Science Engineer - Practice Lead

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Building Science Engineer - Practice Lead based in Canada. As a Building Science Engineer - Practice Lead, you’ll lead the development of a scalable Building Condition Assessment (BCA) and Property Condition Assessment (PCA) practice across British Columbia. You’ll combine engineering expertise, building science knowledge, and professional judgment to establish rigorous methodologies, quality standards, and delivery processes. The role goes beyond traditional project management, giving you ownership of technical standards, field team development, and QA/QC systems. You’ll act as a technical authority and, where required, provide professional engineering oversight and authenticate or seal deliverables in accordance with applicable requirements. Your work will help lenders, investors, property owners, and other stakeholders make informed decisions about risk, maintenance, investment, and long-term capital planning.
