Backend Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE This is a core backend engineering role at a fintech company building global trust and compliance infrastructure. You will design scalable systems and APIs that sit at the heart of a high-trust product, shaping both the technical architecture and the engineering culture as the team grows. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Design and build backend systems that are clean, testable, and efficient. - Architect scalable APIs and infrastructure capable of handling high-trust, high-volume requirements. - Bring strong opinions on testing, quality, and long-term maintainability to every project. - Tackle complex product challenges by thinking deeply about user needs and system behavior. - Shape engineering practices and technical culture through collaboration and hands-on leadership.
