Audio Transcription Reviewer (Annotator)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Audio Transcription Reviewer (Annotator) based in India. This is a fully remote, freelance opportunity supporting an English (US) speech-data annotation project. You’ll review short audio clips and improve automated transcription and word-level timing data with precision. Your work will help ensure speech datasets are accurate, consistent, and representative of real-world language use. The role is well suited to detail-oriented contributors with strong English listening comprehension and familiarity with US cultural and linguistic context. You’ll work independently while following clear annotation guidelines and quality standards. The flexible structure allows you to contribute around 15–20 hours per week based on your availability.
