We’re looking for a Company Accountant with hands-on experience in Xero and a strong understanding of financial processes across payroll, reconciliations, creditors, and month-end reporting.
This is a fixed-term contract for 10 months, ideal for an experienced accountant seeking a challenging and rewarding opportunity in a growing product-based business. You’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely financial processes that support daily operations across Australia.

Manage end-to-end payroll processing, including timesheet approvals, performance bonuses, and bank payments.
Perform bank reconciliations three times per week and ensure accurate cash management.
Oversee accounts payable and receivable, processing supplier invoices and debtor payments.
Prepare and issue invoices for completed deliveries and reconcile supplier statements.
Handle fabric ordering and purchase orders for both local and international suppliers.
Assist in preparing and reviewing quarterly BAS and fuel tax credits.
Complete month-end activities, including payroll tax, credit card reconciliations, and accruals.
Support the Financial Controller in reviewing data accuracy, reporting, and process improvements.
Participate in ad hoc accounting and administrative projects as assigned.
Have previous experience as a Company Accountant or Assistant Accountant in a product-based or manufacturing business.
Are proficient in Xero, including payroll, reconciliations, and reporting.
Understand BAS, GST, and payroll tax compliance requirements.
Have strong attention to detail and reconciliation accuracy.
Can work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Have intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with Power BI.
Are organised, logical, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
