Applied AI Security Engineer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Applied AI Security Engineer based in the United States. As an Applied AI Security Engineer, you will help shape how AI is securely adopted across a fast-moving, AI-native technology environment. You will take ownership of AI security controls, guardrails, and integrations across the organization. Your work will span AI coding and productivity tools, MCP integrations, service connections, permissions, and sensitive data. You will partner closely with engineers and teams across the business to make secure-by-default AI workflows practical and effective. You will also continuously test and red-team these controls to identify weaknesses before they can become real risks. This is an opportunity for a developer-minded security professional to influence how emerging AI capabilities are deployed safely at scale.
