THE ROLE You'll own our accounting function end to end: the monthly close, revenue recognition, client billing, and financial reporting. You'll be the person who does accounting at Tribe — a role we're carving out so the close gets faster and cleaner as we scale. You'll partner closely with our account GMs, our People team, and our external auditors and tax advisors. WHAT YOU'LL DO Own the monthly close - Run the full close: bank and card reconciliations, accruals, prepaids, depreciation, and balance sheet reconciliations - Book stock-based compensation, lease entries (ASC 842), and FX revaluation on foreign balances - Own the close calendar, review journal entries, and keep shortening the close Revenue and billing - Own revenue recognition and the deferred revenue rollforward under ASC 606 for ou...
