Reporting into the Team Leader, Commercial Packages you will be responsible for:
- Underwriting motor insurance risks, for a panel of Brokers ensuring adherence to underwriting guidelines and standards.
- Manage the efficient turnaround of quotations, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations.
- Establish and maintain strong and effective working relationships with customers and service providers, including reinsurers.
- Resolution and ownership of problem solving including following through with resolutions and having open communication with Brokers.
- Ensure all enquiries, complaints, opportunities are responded to quickly and effectively
- Align business offering with divisional objectives, portfolio balance and Cycle Management strategies.
- Ensure adherence to industry regulations, legal requirements, and company policies.
- Keep up to date with industry best practices by participating in business related industry forms and working groups.?
Skills & Experience:
- Proven expertise in the insurance sector, specifically in underwriting, with a successful track record of managing and assessing risks.
- Hands-on experience working with Brokers and the ability to build strategic relationships to drive business outcomes and targets.
- Customer-focused mindset and the ability to partner with internal stakeholders (i.e. Sales and Claims) to support positive customers outcomes and problem solving.
- A team player, who is collaborative and will share their expertise and knowledge for a best practice customer experience.
