This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Site IT Manager in the United States.

As a Site IT Manager, you will oversee the seamless operation and strategic development of IT systems at a major business site. You will combine technical expertise with leadership to manage infrastructure, networks, servers, and cloud services, while ensuring alignment with organizational goals. This role involves optimizing system performance, managing IT budgets, and coordinating vendor relationships to enhance efficiency and reliability. You will guide a team of IT professionals, resolve complex technical challenges, and identify opportunities to leverage technology to improve business processes. Operating in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, you will contribute to long-term IT strategy and support business growth through effective technology management.

Accountabilities

  • Manage and maintain servers, networks, storage, and cloud services to ensure operational excellence.
  • Provide tiered support to resolve complex IT issues escalated from the helpdesk.
  • Monitor system performance and optimize IT services to meet or exceed SLAs.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure optimal service delivery.
  • Oversee procurement of hardware, software, and IT services in a cost-effective manner.
  • Develop and manage site-specific IT budgets, monitoring expenditures and optimizing costs.
  • Identify opportunities to improve business processes through technology enhancements.
  • Develop and execute IT strategies aligned with overall business objectives.



Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; Master’s or MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management, with strong exposure to infrastructure and systems administration.
  • Proven experience planning and managing IT projects.
  • Thorough knowledge of network technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs).
  • Proficiency in managing server and storage environments (Windows/Linux servers, SAN/NAS).
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Experience with enterprise applications and system integrations.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Relevant certifications such as Cisco CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Network+/Security+, Microsoft MCP/MCSE, or VMware VCP are advantageous.
  • Ability to work on-site in the Dallas office (this is not a remote role).
