Role Overview
The Senior Technical Sourcer at Beacon AI will play a vital role in identifying and engaging top engineering and technical talent, contributing to our rapid growth. This position is ideal for a proactive and resourceful individual who excels in developing innovative sourcing strategies and building robust talent pipelines for high-tech roles in AI, aviation, and robotics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sourcing Ownership: Take responsibility for identifying and engaging exceptional engineering and technical talent, ensuring alignment with the company’s growth objectives.

  • Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future needs, focusing on key roles in robotics, machine learning, AI, and aviation.

  • Innovative Sourcing Strategies: Develop and implement creative sourcing strategies across platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, and other niche channels.

  • Candidate Engagement: Proactively engage with passive talent, effectively conveying Beacon AI’s mission and career opportunities to inspire interest and excitement.

  • Market Research and Insights: Leverage data and industry insights to guide sourcing efforts and identify emerging talent trends in the aerospace and tech sectors.

  • Collaboration with Recruiters and Hiring Managers: Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand role requirements, refine sourcing strategies, and ensure alignment with team needs.

  • Process Improvements: Contribute to refining sourcing processes, tools, and methodologies to increase efficiency and impact.

  • Employer Branding Support: Help amplify Beacon AI’s employer brand by participating in talent engagement initiatives such as events, partnerships, and online campaigns.

Role Requirements

  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in technical sourcing, with a strong track record of identifying top talent in robotics, machine learning, AI, or aviation.

  • Sourcing Expertise: Advanced knowledge of sourcing tools and platforms, including LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search techniques, and other creative methods to identify niche talent.

  • Data-Driven Approach: Demonstrated ability to analyze sourcing metrics and adjust strategies based on data insights.

  • Relationship-Building Skills: Exceptional skills in building rapport with candidates and stakeholders, fostering trust and engagement throughout the sourcing process.

  • Adaptability in Fast-Paced Environments: Proven ability to thrive in dynamic, rapidly changing startup environments.

  • Organizational Skills: Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple sourcing projects effectively.

  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey opportunities and articulate Beacon AI’s value proposition to candidates.

  • ATS Experience: Familiarity with Ashby or similar applicant tracking systems.

  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the technical and regulatory aspects of the aerospace or aviation industries.

This is a hybrid role and requires working from our San Carlos, CA office at least three days a week, with the option to work remotely the remaining days.
