What You’ll Do
As a Revenue Accounting Intern, you’ll support the finance team in ensuring accurate and timely revenue recognition. You’ll work closely with experienced professionals and gain exposure to real-world accounting processes in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with monthly revenue close activities, including data validation and reporting
- Supporting the review of customer contracts to ensure compliance with revenue recognition policies
- Helping reconcile revenue-related accounts and prepare journal entries
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Sales Operations and Customer Success
- Participating in process improvement initiatives and documentation efforts
What You Bring
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Familiarity with revenue recognition concepts (e.g., ASC 606)
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP)
- Previous internship or project experience in accounting or finance
