About the Role:
We are seeking hands-on, senior full stack engineers to join our greenfield initiative—building AI-first clinical applications and scalable cloud services. As a Consulting Member of Technical Staff, you will architect and lead the development of innovative, distributed systems and modern user interfaces that support healthcare professionals and patients. You will drive cloud-native best practices, guide technical strategy for EHR capabilities, mentor engineers, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and user-focused solutions.



Responsibilities

Responsibilities:


•    Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of AI-powered, cloud-native healthcare applications (frontend and backend).
•    Guide the development of scalable, secure, and resilient distributed services and microservice-based solutions.
•    Collaborate across teams and with healthcare domain experts to deliver intuitive, accessible user experiences and open APIs.
•    Ensure robust security, privacy, and regulatory compliance across all software and data workflows.
•    Mentor engineers and drive continuous improvement in engineering practices, code quality, and system monitoring.
•    Represent your team and solutions to senior technical leadership.
 

Required Qualifications:

•    BS, MS or PhDin Computer Science or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
•    12+ years of software engineering experience focused on distributed, cloud-native systems
•    Expertise in Java and/or front-end JavaScript (React or Preact).
•    Strong experience designing and developing microservices and enterprise web applications using frameworks.
•    Demonstrated experience with public cloud platforms (OCI, AWS, Azure, or GCP), infrastructure automation (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform), and CI/CD best practices.
•    Deep understanding of scalable system architecture, data-centric design, and secure software development
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven technical leadership and mentoring experience

Preferred:

•    Familiarity with AI/ML integration in production applications.
•    Experience developing applications for the healthcare industry.
•    Expertise with cloud data services, automation, and DevOps tooling.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $96,800 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
